Prayer Focus

Thank you for your commitment to prayer…the Good News is being heard and people are coming to faith in Jesus Christ!

August 1, 2025

Please pray for FEBC-Russia’s leadership, Victor, Alexey, and Oleg as they take the team through this difficult time. It is a time of darkness, and the people of Russia need the light of the Gospel like never before. Please pray for the Good News to continue to go out in Russia, to continue reaching millions with the light of Christ, and for the Lord to work powerfully in this time that seems darkest.

Please pray for the work in Tajikistan, a country that is overwhelmingly Muslim and where religion is heavily regulated. It has recently become possible to produce short Bible programs, though this must be done carefully. Please pray for our broadcasters inside the country and for the Lord to continue to open doors for the Gospel to break into this closed country.

August 3, 2025

Please pray for peace in Ukraine. As talks continue among leaders, the future remains uncertain for Ukrainians. Please pray for the people and the country as a whole to be given the chance to begin to heal. Our broadcasters, volunteers, and prayer evangelists are sharing the Gospel with listeners through broadcasts, through online conversations, and through in-person conversations. So many are coming to the Lord, open like they never had been before. Please pray for this open-heartedness to continue.

August 4, 2025

Please pray for FEBC-Moldova’s videographers, who are doing an incredible job. They are helping create new programs, and do innovative things with limited resources.

August 5, 2025

Please pray for FEBC-Kyrgyzstan as the team ministers in a difficult Islamic environment. Recently, the government passed a new law restricting freedom of speech online. Please pray that this law does not become an obstacle as we spread the Gospel in Kyrgyzstan.

Anya, from Russia writes: “I’m so happy I found your program five years ago after my relationship ended.” Anya started writing to the hosts of the program and they even met in person. “You shared a lot of Biblical truths with me. But to be honest, at first, they didn’t mean much to me. It was after I started applying what I was learning to raising my daughter that I began to see the power of God’s Words. Since then, my life has changed so much! God has changed my whole perspective—now, I’m able to handle the hard times in my life. I know that I have a hope and a future!” Please pray for Anya, and other listeners like her. Our broadcasters spend a lot of time with listeners, some respond to the Gospel right away, others only show fruit after many years.

August 7, 2025

Please post for those who are being conscripted in Russia and forced to fight in the war. The losses have been great in the war, and these efforts seem to be only expanding. Please pray for the safety and protection of the team from this, and for the Lord to help us minister the Gospel to those who have been drafted and are being put in dangerous, terrible situation.

August 8, 2025

Please pray for a new program that we are starting for teenagers in Tajikistan. These are short videos encouraging teenagers, giving them hope and meaning. This is so necessary now, after 102 girls in Tajikistan committed suicide in June.

August 9, 2025

Please pray for FEBC-Ukraine’s children’s programs. As rocket attacks occur daily, this is such an important time for the children of Ukraine to be given hope and to hear about the love of Jesus for them and their families.

August 10, 2025

Please pray for FEBC-Moldova’s new program for young adults, showing Christians living their every day lives. During the filming of our second episode, we interviewed one of the cohosts at a camp they were working at. As the cohost shared his testimony, two teens put their lives in Christ. Please pray for this program to continue transforming the lives of the young people in Moldova.

August 11, 2025

Please pray FEBC-Kyrgyzstan’s Bible program which creates a lot of controversy with Muslim listeners. Many leave aggressive and negative comments, but some of these comments turn into conversations that leave listeners asking real questions about Jesus and the difference between Islam and Christianity.

August 12, 2025

“I was on the frontlines,” said Oleksandr, as he spoke with Inna, one of FEBC-Ukraine’s broadcasters. “It had been a difficult day, so I turned on the radio. That’s when I heard your program coming over the airwaves. I felt a positivity and light that I hadn’t felt since the war began. I’ve been listening ever since.” Oleksandr is often at the hottest points of the war. Inna met with Oleksandr, and they were able to have a long conversation about God. Please pray for Oleksandr to put his faith in Christ and for God’s protection on the frontlines of the war.

August 13, 2025

Please pray for FEBC-Russia’s ministry to prisoners and their families. Many prisoners were called into the military in return for their freedom, and are coming home with PTSD, unable to handle the trauma they experienced and turning back to crime. Many souls are being saved through this ministry.

August 14, 2025

Please pray for protection of those who are working in dangerous countries, like Tajikistan. One of our translators and voice broadcasters there was recently recognized by voice (he did not use a voice changer). This has caused some problems. Please pray for his protection.

August 15, 2025

Please pray for families in Ukraine who are struggling to stay together because of long-separation, trauma, addiction, and prolonged stress. We receive many calls and messages from families asking for help after watching FEBC-Ukraine’s family programs. We have had the opportunity to pray with and lead many to Christ, and have seen many marriages healed.

August 16, 2025

FEBC-Moldova has been developing children’s content, making videos sharing Bible stories and creating songs for children. Christian music played a large part in one of our host’s coming to the Lord. Now she is helping create these songs. Recently, a secular children’s camp asked to play these songs for the kids. Please pray for the Lord to work in their lives through this Christian music.

August 17, 2025

As FEBC-Kyrgyzstan continues to expand our online ministry, we need to add some team members to our broadcasting team. Please pray for the Lord to bring the right people, who have the necessary skills and the boldness to take the risk of helping us proclaim the Gospel publicly in our heavily Islamic country.

August 18, 2025

“I am the only Christian in my family. We don’t have good relationships with each other, and I feel really isolated in my faith. I don’t know if I can keep following God, it’s really hard,” said Alina when she first wrote to FEBC-Ukraine. “I didn’t understand why God would need me or want me then. But the more we talked, the more I started to feel that God loves me. I’m starting to feel like I’m actually important to him.” Please pray for listeners like Alina who are new believers and live in difficult circumstances.

August 19, 2025

Please pray for FEBC-Russia’s ministry to Russia’s over 20 million Muslims. These people are trapped in darkness and are in great need of the light of the Gospel.

August 20, 2025

Please pray for the work that FEBC is doing in Tajikistan, where the ministry is very new. Please pray for the Lord’s help with some technical needs and problems that we are facing.

August 21, 2025

Please pray for FEBC-Ukraine’s broadcasters and prayer evangelists who are helping many soldiers and their families through fear, stress, trauma, and grief. We are reaching soldiers on the frontlines, as they return, and families at home with the Good News. With the only hope that can withstand what they are experiencing.

August 22, 2025

Please pray for Marina from Moldova, who has been watching FEBC-Moldova’s Bible program. “As I heard about what it meant to find my identity in Jesus, I felt like I had worth for the first time. And I didn’t have to find it in the praise of others, I found it in God!” Please pray for FEBC-Moldova’s Bible program to reach many more listeners like Marina.

August 23, 2025

Please pray for FEBC-Kazakhstan’s online discussions and debates about Islam. This type of program creates many waves, and even threats, but we are seeing people respond—many have never heard real arguments for Christianity and against Islam. It can be shocking for people, but it can also wake some people up to the truth.

August 24, 2025

“Last night I decided to quit smoking,” said Olena, from Ukraine. “You talk about how God can help us. What saints should I be praying to for help with this?” We prayed with Olena, teaching her how to pray to her Father in heaven directly. Please pray for Olena as she begins her journey towards Christ.

August 25, 2025

Please pray for FEBC-Russia’s Bible programs, where we receive much response from listeners whose hearts are opening to the scriptures as the world around them seems to get darker. Some, like Marta, are long-time listeners, but only responded recently. “I liked your program, I would listen wherever it came on. But now…There is something real here, something I never realized I needed.”

August 26, 2025

Please pray for our online missionaries in Tajikistan who are responding to comments under our videos. This can be risky. Please pray for wisdom and boldness as they minister to the people of Tajikistan who have a great need for the hope of the Gospel.

August 27, 2025

Please pray for FEBC-Ukraine’s ministry to war-widows, called “Embrace.” As we have seen the effect these meetings have on the women who attend, we have started expanding them to other cities across Ukraine. We have been partnering with churches, some of which have kept these meetings going once we’ve left. Please pray for these meetings to continue reaching these broken and hurting women with the Good News and a Christian community that can continue to minister to them.

August 28, 2025

“I started praying again because of your program,” wrote Magda from Moldova. “I’ve begin to realize that Christianity is about more than just following rules. It’s about having a relationship with Jesus. Now I’m going to a Bible study, and I’m able to help other girls like me understand what it means to have a relationship with Jesus.”

August 29, 2025

Please pray for FEBC-Kazakhstan’s programs for young people. We are seeing a great response, as young people are leaving comments and visiting our studio. This is especially effective when we hold events during country-wide holidays, like Valentine’s Day. We are able to share Christ with our viewers one-on-one and even invite them to church. Not a few people have visited a Christian church for the first time—something that was unthinkable before.

August 30, 2025

Many Ukrainian listeners are going through difficult times right now, but are afraid to seek help. So when they call our prayer helpline, we know how important it is—this may be the only time they admit they need help. When Valentina first called us, she was hesitant. But over time, we learned that she was living a hard life, with little money, bad health, and near the frontlines of the war. She was overwhelmed and had started thinking about ending her life. We prayed with her and convinced her to visit the church near her. “I think God sent me to you,” she said.

“Help me,” said Daria, from Russia. “I’m not even 20, and I’m addicted to drugs. I’m even injecting them straight into my veins. It feels like my brain is boiling. I’m crazy, I don’t know what to do with myself. And nobody will help me. I don’t have a single friend, and my family—they just turn a blind eye to it. I’m sitting here thinking about ending my life so that I don’t have to feel anything anymore. Is there some reason for me to keep living? Can I really have a future?” Daria put her faith in Christ and prayed with FEBC’s prayer evangelist. “Please, God, have mercy on me. Give me the strength to get free from the drugs.”
