Proclaiming Jesus at Christmas
I recently spoke with Ruslan, a soft-spoken former Muslim from Tajikistan. One winter day, just before Christmas, something unusual caught his attention—a few torn pages from the New Testament, crumpled and thrown into a garbage can.
It didn’t feel right to see it discarded like that, especially during Christmas time. He carefully picked up the pages, brushed off the snow, and began to read. Those words became the starting point of Ruslan’s journey to Jesus.
Across Eurasia, Christmas carries a special sense of wonder. It’s a season when conversations about Jesus are welcomed by most.
We use this unique moment of openness to help people truly experience Jesus. Our Bible explorations, especially those focused on the Incarnation, are opening hearts.
People are discovering God’s deep love and His desire to be close to each one of us.
Christmas music fills the air, and through our broadcasts we talk about the meaning behind these songs.
This year, we’re also producing a record number of children’s programs—which, beautifully, are often listened to by adults as well.
Together with local churches and partners, we reach out to widows and orphans, helping connect them to communities that will walk with them through their trials in faith and love.
And so, just like Ruslan with those torn pages, many will encounter Jesus this Christmas season.
Please pray with us that thousands will discover His saving love in the next 30 days.
