“I began listening to you when I got engaged. You talked with your wife Emma about marriage.
I never heard such principles before – unconditional love, commitment, serving one another. All of this was what I was looking for,” wrote Veronika to Igor, our program director in Kyiv, Ukraine.
She got married, to a soldier, and continued to listen. Soon, she gave her life to Christ.
“I got so much joy now! I’ve been praying for my husband to give his life to Christ, too.”
Recently, Igor came to their city. Veronika invited her husband to be there. That day he gave his life to Jesus.
“As soon as you began speaking, I knew you were real, you truly believed in what you were sharing,” he said.
“And that helped me open my heart to Jesus.”
