Often, when we think of the “unreached,” we imagine small, isolated tribes—and yes, we do bring the Gospel to many of the most remote people groups around the world.
But being unreached isn’t only about geography. It’s about people who have little or no opportunity to hear the true Gospel of Christ. It might be a young student lost in the urban sprawl of Shanghai, or a widow in Mumbai struggling just to survive.
We regularly hear from listeners in Russia and Ukraine who tell us, “I’ve never heard the Good News explained so simply and clearly before.”
In Muslim regions of Russia, like Chechnya, access is nearly impossible. And across Central Asia—Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan—millions live in deeply restrictive societies where Christian witness is forbidden.
One of our broadcasters, who uses special software to disguise her voice and appearance, was recently interrogated: “We know who you are. Stop spreading your message,” the authorities warned.
In another “Stan” country, a team member was just fined after being questioned by police.
We take every precaution to protect our team. But still, our broadcasters press on—driven by love for their people and a deep calling to share the hope of Christ, no matter the cost. Please keep them in your prayers.
